Response

Here is the follow up response that was emailed to me from Capri Sun.
"Thank You for Contacting Us!

Hi Lori,

Thank you for visiting http://www.kraftfoods.com/ and for your interest in our products.
I'm very sorry to learn that you found an molded slice of apple in your CAPRI SUN All Natural 100% Juice Apple Splash.

Your experience is important to us. I'm sending you reimbursement to replace this product, via first class mail, which you should receive within 7-10 business days.

This product was apparently not up to the quality and standards that we have established for our products. I want to assure you that our quality control program is designed to maintain high standards, which begins with the examination of each raw ingredient and packaging component when it enters our facility. Whenever possible, the raw ingredients and finished products go through filters, strainers and metal detectors. These precautions should eliminate the possibility of any foreign material appearing in our finished products. In this instance, despite all precautions, this material obviously escaped screening devices and we apologize for that. We will report your experience to our manufacturing team.
I hope this information is helpful, and again, I apologize for this experience. Thank you for your loyalty and we hope that your next experience is a good one."

There was also an article written about it on a consumer website. Here is the link!
